We are excited to introduce to you Harvey Hartman, Jim Vernon, Nick Jensen, and Steve Dobler. These four men who have been a great blessing to HBC and are currently being considered for deacons. Take a moment to hear their testimonies in preparation for our upcoming business meeting and to simply be encouraged in God’s gracious love.
During this time of fear and anger in our nation, it is important for the church to stay grounded in the word and active in prayer. Here is Pastor Nathan with details about a special Thursday prayer service and a change to the Lunch with Nathan Bible study.

We are very excited that this Sunday will be our first Sunday back. In order to allow for as many people as possible, we have decided to have service outside!
Due to the logistics of traffic flow, parking, and seating arrangements we ask that you do three things:
1.Watch this video from Pastor Nathan. Take time to watch this video so that you are informed and prepared for Sunday.
2. SIGN UP!!! Due to the limited space, it is crucial that all families sign up so that we can be prepared. You can sign up here – https://hbclynchburg.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/423308
3. Be gracious to everyone. This is new territory for all of us and it will be important for us to show patience and grace to one another.
We are moving towards a phased reopening beginning May 24th. Exact details as to the format of the service, capacity, etc. will be given Tuesday, May 19th.
As we approach reopening, let us guard against divisiveness and cling to unity. May each of us be gracious to one another, to church leaders, and also our government. Ultimately, we pray that Christ would be glorified in our abundant love for one another during this time.
Pastor Nathan will not be doing the Ephesians study this week in planning for reopening the church per the governor’s allowances. Stay tuned this Wednesday at noon for a special announcement from Pastor Nathan on initial details and first steps for reopening HBC.
