Youth Group Tomorrow Night
Tomorrow night, Pastor Nathan will be starting a series about the Holy Spirit. This week’s focus will be on the Holy Spirit’s involvement in our liberation from sin, in indwelling God’s people, in guiding and leading us into truth, and in interceding for us. We will be studying Romans 8 and will look at how believers have been lovingly gifted by God all that is needed for a life of present godliness.
Here are some questions to consider with your family:
1. What is one ministry of the Holy Spirit that stuck out to you this evening?
2. How should the reality that the indwelling Spirit of God (the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead) lives in me impact my day to day life?
3. What part of your life do you find it hardest to live by the Spirit as opposed to walking in the flesh?
4. What does it mean to be made from “slaves to sin” to “sons of God”? What should that produce in us both in attitude and in how we live?
