HBC Outdoor Service F.A.Q.s
- WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?
- HBC outdoor services are currently at 9:00 am. Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes early.
- DO I NEED TO REGISTER?
- You must register (click here). Space is limited and we will contact you if there are any weather-related changes.
- WILL I RECEIVE A TICKET?
- If you are registered, you will receive a text on the morning of the service with a digital ticket.
- WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS?
- Staff and volunteers will be in matching T-shirts. Feel free to ask them any questions.
- IS THIS A DRIVE-IN CHURCH SERVICE?
- No, this is not "drive-in” church. We will be parking in designated areas and walking to the lower parking lot for the service.
- Parking spots are limited; please carpool as families if possible.
- Please follow all instructions regarding which entrance to use and where to park.
- Please do not drive through coned off areas or entrances.
- Handicapped parking will be available.

- WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
- Your own chair! Seating will not be provided outdoors.
- Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, personal umbrella.
- Bottle of water.
- WILL THERE BE BATHROOMS?
- Limited bathrooms will be available in the gym area.
- WHERE WILL WE BE SEATED?
- Attendees will be provided a designated space in the parking lot.
- There may be a short walk to get to the designated seating areas.

- WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR?
- Casual attire is fine, but modesty and appropriateness are needed. Keep in mind the time of day and temperature.
- WHAT IF I AM IN A VULNERABLE CATEGORY?
- If you are in the vulnerable category or do not feel comfortable with large gatherings right now, we understand and encourage you to stay at home and watch the live feed of the service available at watchhbclynchburg.com.
- OTHER THINGS TO CONSIDER...
- Please be gracious and considerate of staff and those around you.We understand all of these guidelines can be frustrating and restrictive and we appreciate your patience ahead of time.
- Others may or may not be in masks. Please be respectful either way.
- No large umbrellas or pop-up tents are permitted. Small, personal umbrellas are allowed.
- Please keep your children with you at all times.
- Please maintain social distancing of 6 feet.
